About
mat4folio is the 3D portfolio of the studio mat4, built with Next.js and Three.js. It opens in a dark, rocky space where the glowing white M logo hovers above the ground, before the camera pulls back into a black room lined with a dotted grid. Project panels hang on the walls around you, among them The Creepy Maze and a purple typographic title card, and you drag to look around and pick one. Another scene draws a hooded jacket out of white points on deep blue. Custom shaders, noise and post-processing give the scenes their soft, photographic lighting.
