About

Jungle Cursor Canopy is an experiment by Zsolt Kacso, a design engineer who builds interactive interfaces for startups. A dense layer of green leaves covers a dark page around the title Understory, and the canopy parts wherever your cursor moves, then lifts away to clear the view. The leaves are 3D shapes that drift and turn in the light, with small particles floating in the gaps. A link explains how it's made. It runs in Three.js on Next.js and weighs under a megabyte, part of his collection of live UI experiments.
