What the Rain Saw

About
What the Rain Saw is a scroll-driven webfilm by Canberk Polat of HOLM studio, set in a rainy city frozen at 21:47:03. Scrolling moves the camera through that one second: from a dim bar with a lone drinker, out over a wet street, and up the face of brick apartment blocks, stopping at lit windows where people sit, read or embrace. Raindrops hang in the air the whole way. The city is rendered in Three.js with a painted look, using custom shaders, noise, particles and post-processing, and the piece runs with optional sound.
