Liquid Geo

About
Liquid Geo by Robert Leitl is a sphere covered in hundreds of small, polished metal beads, floating on black inside a faint rainbow halo. Dragging across it pushes the beads apart and swells the surface into glossy folds, and the touched area lights up in glowing orange, red and pink before cooling back to steel. The scene also reacts to sound. Apart from the sphere, the page shows only a couple of small buttons and a GitHub link. It runs in WebGL2 with custom shaders, a simulation, noise and particles, and the page is well under a megabyte.
