hexagon Ball

About
Hexagon Ball is a short demo by yufengjie that shows how to use Blender's Geometry Nodes to tell hexagon faces apart, then apply materials and animations to them with the Three.js TSL node system. The result is a sphere covered in glossy hexagonal tiles in blue, violet and magenta, set against a soft blue gradient. Groups of tiles lift away from the surface and fan out in waves around the edge, then settle back into place. You can drag to turn the ball and move the cursor to affect the tiles. It runs on WebGPU.
