Three.js Raycaster Liquid Distortion

About
This technical experiment by Anton Bobrov looks at where raycasting meets fragment shader manipulation. A glossy white sphere sits on a black background, and when you move the cursor across it, a patch of its surface ripples and wrinkles like a thick liquid. The effect simulates high-viscosity fluid on a 2D plane by turning mouse coordinates into a dynamic distortion map, so the marks spread and slowly smooth out after the cursor leaves. It's built with Three.js on WebGPU and focuses on that single effect.
